The teenager, a total fan of the artist, had a ticket to attend one of the concerts of Taylor's tour "The Eras tour", this weekend, at the Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, about 15 minutes south of the hospital where the girl is. But it was impossible given his health condition.

Her father launched a request on social media for the artist to visit Demi, before or after her concerts, and help her“brighten your world in a time that seems terribly dark”.

“My daughter, Demi, remains on life support at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Stanford far from our home in Miami, Florida. We flew across the country to save his life and arrived at Stanford on May 13th.Demi turned 13 in her hospital bed and now you have a ticket to attend the Taylor Swift concert in Santa Clara - row 13, seat 13 - at Levi Stadium (15 min. from Demi Hospital) this coming Friday and Saturday,” Espinosa wrote two days ago on Facebook.

“Demi can't do it because she's fighting for her life like the warrior princess she is!”, expressed the father, and assured that he will not give up taking the artist to the hospital for at least 13 minutes and “inject a dose of life into Demi"What she needs to be able to continue fighting for her people."

The Cuban-American father has sent emails to Taylor's lawyer and agent, friends and others who have contact with the singer, begging for help convincing her to visit his daughter.

Although the concerts were held this Friday and Saturday, Espinosa continues to cry out for that ray of light that Taylor's meeting with her little daughter may bring. On the walls of her hospital room, Demi has posters of the artist hanging and poses in the photos forming a heart with her hands, as her idol usually does.

In statements to the channelLocal 10 News, said that Demi is in “the only place in the world that can save her” and assured that the visit of the acclaimed artist would be very meaningful for the girl.

“The face and the eyes and the emotion he shows, the little he can, when he listens to Taylor Swift songs,” the father confessed. “It would mean the world. Even if it's just a FaceTime (video call). But a visit? “It’s amazing what that would do!”

The family has opened apage ofGoFundMe to receive donations from people who wish to help Demi Espinosa's recovery.
