In May, the US government granted a car export license to Cuba to businessman Hugo Cancio and his company Fuego Enterprises Inc.

The license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the United States Department of Commerce allows the businessman who is a friend of the Palace of the Revolution to export hybrid or hybrid vehicles to Cuba. combustion, new and used, of different brands and sizes.

The vehicles sold to private Cuban companies must be manufactured between 2018 and 2023 and their prices will be adjusted to those of any dealer in the United States, reported Fuego Enterprises Inc.

At the time of the granting of the license being made public, Fuego Enterprises Inc. had processed 30 transactions for the purchase and sale of cars to Cuba, with a delivery time of up to 20 days, according to the company owned by Cancio.
