After leading his team in achieving the Leagues Cup title, Lionel Messi has had no qualms to admit that “We were not wrong” by signing with Inter Miami, Well, “we were right when we said that this was the right place.”
In an exclusive interview with Tony Cherchi for Apple TV, the '10' said that “we had spent two difficult years (in Paris), the truth is that we had not been well, it had been difficult for us. The truth was a bit of going back to what we were when we were in Barcelona, enjoying everyday life, the kids, the family being well.”
I wasn't even happy in sports., admitted Messi, who has now found a kind of oasis in the City of the Sun.
“My happiness was always playing football and having fun,” he said. “Today I can continue doing it here, which was one of the reasons for this decision. To enjoy again what I had lost a little.
