Cuban journalist Javier Díaz remembers his first job in the US: "I have never hidden it"

"I have never hidden it"said the young reporter and announcer who currently works forUnivision 23 in Miami.

Javier Diaz He has a degree in Social Communication, but like every emigrant, things were not very easy when he left his country. He started his career from scratch and works hard to achieve his goals.

"My first job in the United States wasin the kitchen of a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. I was there during my first seven months in this country," he commented in a publication on his social networks.

"I always remember mybeginnings as an immigrant in a very special way," said Javier and asked his followers what their experiences have been like.

The post has numerous messages where people tell the journalist how they had torestart their professional careers in a country with another language and a completely different work culture.

"The beginnings are difficult butdreams in this country can be fulfilled"Javier told his followers and encouraged them to continue fighting for their goals, with clear and practical objectives.

It is not the first time that Javier proudly shows what his origins were. This summer he published photos of when he lived in Cuba and aloneI had a bicycle to move.

He also denouncedsocial communication professionals in Cuba, who in their opinion have become accomplices of the dictatorship. He reminded Carlos Manuel Alonso, Humberto López, Oliver Zamora, Froilán Arencibia, and Talía González, that "it is time to stand on the side of the truth."
