Chances of formation of a tropical depression increase south of Cuba

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) of the United States warned that a hurricane is likely to occur in the next 48 hours.tropical depression south of Cuba.

The existence of alow pressure trough on the eastern Caribbean Sea was reported this Monday and remains under observation by experts because there are favorable conditions for its evolution in the coming days.

HeNHC In its monitoring it warns that themeteorological phenomenon AL97, is producing a large area ofshowers and storms. The system is moving westward, gradually approaching southern Cuba.

"A tropical depression is likely to form by the end of this week. Regardless of development, this system has the potential to produceheavy rains in parts of Central America towards the end of the week.

They pointed out that the probability of formation in 48 hours is low, 30%, but thetraining in seven days is 70%.
