All eyes were on this Thursday, November 16, in Seville, where the Latin Grammys were held, this being the first edition to take place outside the United States. Dozens of stars arrived in the Spanish city ready to enjoy the gala and the musical presentations that were held, and among those offered at the awards ceremony, there were two artists who said a lot with their performances: Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro.

After their notorious breakup, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro met again at the 24th edition of the Latin Grammys, where both sang for the public, but with many hints for the other...

Rosalía wore a beautiful black Schiaparelli dress (a garment that many resemble Lady Di's revenge dress) and opened the gala singing "Se nos roto el amor", composed by Manuel Alejandro for Rocío Jurado in 1985.

The Spanish singer covered the heartbreak song, introducing some verses of her own such as: "Our love broke from using it so much," and she added "or from not using it."

"Our love broke from using it so much... or not using it"

What would Rauw Alejandro think of these words? Although the cameras did not capture the Puerto Rican's reaction, a little later it was his turn to get on stage and respond to his ex...

Contrasting with Rosalía's presentation, Rauw dressed in white to sing "Se fue" by Laura Pausini, named Person of the Year 2023. "Life with her left and since then I only have tears," the Puerto Rican sang, visibly moved.

Of course, the choice of songs they performed at the first awards in which they coincide after their separation does not seem to be the result of chance. Both sang about heartbreak, each in their own way, surely to express how they feel after having put an end to their love story.

What do you think?
