A high-profile concert was held by the passengers of a recent LATAM Airlines flight on the Cartagena-Bogotá route, who enjoyed the surprise of being in the audience of a live performance byCarlos Vives.
After introducing him to the passengers as the airline's new ambassador, the aircraft's pilot himself welcomed the famous singer-songwriter, a pioneer in the internationalization of vallenato, to the flight.
"When we talk about Colombia we talk about it and if we talk about it, we talk about the deepest part of Colombian culture," he said before madness broke out among the passengers and the music began to play.
"LATAM + Carlos Vives live! At more than 30,000 feet high next to the idol and ambassador of LATAM. Since October we have offered WIFI on board our domestic flights and it allows us to exclusively share this unprecedented Colombia we fly for you," the company wrote in their networks by showing a fragment that attests to the fun and good vibes that the passengers of flight LA4103 experienced on December 3.
"Even in heaven you are the best! With this applause I am convinced that we have done many things well during these 30 years, thank you for so much love, Latam, what a tremendous experience we live today, you have us in the clouds ha ha ha …", he wrote on Instagram when showing a video that summarizes the moments before boarding until the concert above the clouds, and where he reiterated the company's slogan: "We fly for you Colombia."
This is not, however, the first time that a Latin artist chooses a flight as the setting for a presentation. In 2019 it was the VenezuelanNacho who opened the year singing on a Copa Airlines plane.
