The wedding of two Spaniards who decided to get married in the Church in Cuba brought together part of the Iberian country's jet set in Havana over the weekend.
The wedding, which was held in the Cathedral, brought together representatives of the best and brightest of Spanish high society, and lasted several days.
The couple were Víctor Moro, son of Víctor Moro Suárez, former banker and president of Vima Foods, an international group of food production and marketing companies, one of whose headquarters is in Havana, and Alexandra Lacorne, a specialist in international brand management who He has worked in the world of fashion for companies such as Inditex, Zara and Louis Vuitton.
According to the magazine Vanity Fair, the day before the event there was "a pre-wedding to match."
"The bride and groom invited the attendees to a great dinner with a show at Tropicana, the most famous and oldest cabaret in Havana," the article says.
To the well-known nightclub, the guests arrived from the Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski, in Old Havana, riding in the internationally popular vintage cars in pink, red or blue colors.
"It was a most fun night where there was no shortage of music, dancing and the bride and groom's speech...", the report states.
The ceremony at the Cathedral featured a gospel choir, and at the end, the couple was welcomed outside the temple by a group of traditional dancers dressed in red.
Tamara Falcó -sister of Enrique Iglesias and Marchioness of Griñón- traveled to Havana, with her husband, Íñigo Onieva, car designer; Isabelle Junot -aristocrat and businesswoman- and Belén Barnechea, Peruvian businesswoman living in Madrid known as the pastry chef of the jet.
"The friends enjoyed those days also touring the most touristic areas of the Cuban capital in vintage cars," the note states.
