TheInternational Space Station (EEI) will once again be visible in Cuba during this month of January, according to Cuban meteorologist Elier Pila Fariñas.
Pila Fariñas through the social network Twitter (currently X) issued an alert to Cubans. “Set an alarm on your calendar…” warned the specialist.
“As we were able to see it in December, this January 12 the International Space Station will once again be clearly visible from Havana,” he clarified.
On December 7, Cubans were able to capture thelights of the International Space Station during its passage through the sky of the island.
At around 11:35 p.m., reports indicated that the station, run by NASA, was within the coordinates of the Caribbean nation.
Specifically, it was at a latitude of 23.2 N and a longitude of 82.3 W. The station passed at an altitude of 417 km and a speed of 27,590 km/h.
The previous time the ISS flew over Cuba was on September 27, 2022.
The International Space Station will be destroyed in the not distant future, between the year 2030 or 2031, as detailed in NASA's recent plan according to which they would invest 1 billion dollars to remove these facilities from orbit in the safest way for everyone. .
The reason for this announced death is simple: the end of its useful life, after being put into orbit in 1998.
