Forbes Magazine includes Cuban Rachel Valdés among the 75 Latin women to follow in 2024

The artist attended the ceremony in Madrid in which the list was announced.

MagazineForbes, in your section"Forbes Women" included the CubanRachel Valdés Camejo on the list of the 75 Latin women to follow in 2024.

Along with businesswomen, entrepreneurs, directors, art collectors, among others, the Havana plastic artist, considered one of the most outstanding of her generation, earned a place in this selection.

This visual artist develops her work through different manifestations such as painting, sculpture, installation, and photography and has public art projects, some of them developed in Havana Biennials. His work is part of private and public collections, including The Donald Rubin Foundation, New York, The Rockefeller Brothers Foundation, New York, Pérez Museum (PAMM) Miami, Fundación Calosa, Mexico.In Spain it has also conquered the elites. His work 'The Thinker' has been installed in the Cigarral de Menores of Toledo, owned by Gregorio Marañón and Bertrán de Lis," the review states.Forbes.

Rachel participated in the ceremony in which the list of these 75 women was announced, an event held this January 18 at the Santo Mauro hotel in Madrid.

On her Instagram she shared some photos and videos of her moment in front of the cameras wearing an elegant white dress, along withyour thanks to the magazine.

Two other Cuban women, the art collector Ella Fontanals-Cisneros and the artistGlenda Leon, passionate about classical ballet and the plastic arts, were also included byForbes on the lists.
