A young Cuban delights on social networks, by performing songs by Ricardo Arjona and Armando Manzanero, with an almost perfect imitation of their voices.
Frank González Almaguer, resides in Havana and although he also performs in nightclubs in the Cuban capital, it is on social networks where he has achieved greater recognition for his talent.
In an interview he gave toYoutube channelLa Baina Musical, said that he began in this world of acting from the age of five. “What really aroused my curiosity about wanting to examine my voice a little more and introduce myself a little more into the world of singing was the song ‘A Lot of Stars’.”
The young man asserted that his main reference in music was the late Polo Montañez. “I think that the person who told me without telling me was the inspiration that Polo Montañez provoked in me, he was the one who gave way to me testing whether I sang well or not,” he added.
Regarding his family, he expressed that they have played a very important role, especially when seeing the reaction when he sang, then the choir was recruited.
González Almaguer, 31, recalled that the music of the 90s played a fundamental role in his training and tastes.
The young man already has his first video clip with the song titled: “So that it is always today.”
