A few days after having shared about his encounter with Olga Tañón, Leoni Torres asked on social media if they were "ready to listen to this collaboration."
Without giving further details or clues, the Cuban singer posted a poll for a yes or no response through the stories on his Instagram account.
"I have been listening to the music of this great woman, Olga Tañón, for years and have deeply admired her. What I did not imagine is that she also listened to me, and I was surprised when she told me," Leoni had said when sharing two photos of the encounter on her social media.
Followers and colleagues reacted at that moment to the images, applauding to see them together and confessing their desires for them to release a collaboration track, something that, judging by this story, could already be in the works.
The closeness of the Puerto Rican to Cuba - where she has been on more than one occasion - and its artists is not new.
Their song "Life takes turns" has a Cuban flavor, as it was composed by Erick Leoi and recorded in Lenier Mesa's studio.
"We had so much fun making this song in the studio!" said the Woman of Fire last May when she uploaded a video showing how much they enjoyed bringing the song to life.
