The leaderSusely Morfa, former secretary of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) in Matanzas, sent a message to the rulerMiguel Diaz-Canel where he ratifies eternal loyalty.
"Thank you President Miguel Díaz-Canel, for your recognition of me at the head of the beautiful and heroic Matanzas. It commits me even more to the PCC, the love and dedication to the Revolution, to our people and toI ratify eternal loyalty to you and the historic generation of the Revolution," said Morfa on the social network
This Saturday it was reportedSusely's replacement, known among Cubans as "the millionaire psychologist." She served as First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party since 2022. She was elected to that positionMario Felipe Sabines Lorenzo, who was the Governor in the province.
After the substitution became official,Lisa Cuesta, wife of Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent a brief message ofcongratulations to Susely. "Sister, proud of women like you: Success in your new task!" he told her through X.
Susely's career in politics in Cuba has been meteoric. She began to stand out in 2015, at the Summit of the Americas in Panama, where she shouted that she had paid for her ticket to that country with her salary, which at that time was equivalent to 20 dollars a month.
Since then, Cubans have known her as"the millionaire psychologist". After that media debut came her promotion as Secretary of the Young Communist League until 2020.
Two years later he went on to lead the PCC in Matanzas and after less than two years at the head of that province, he will go on to work in an office in the Central Committee.
So far the regime has not detailed what functions it has reserved forSusely Morfa, but they will allow you to "show your loyalty", as long as it is a useful piece for their strategies.
