The guitarist of the successful American band Black Eyed Peas,George Pajon Jr., 55 years old, has Cuban origins, as the Cuban model recalled this SaturdayGina Martinez, known asMaduq Teeth, who has been living in the Cayman Islands for a few months.
Martínez, attending a concert by the group in the Cayman Islands, shared a moment from the show where the lead voice said that Pajon was of Cuban origins.
The American composer and record producer also said about his beginnings that his “uncle took out a Candy Apple Red Strat, plugged it into an amplifier and blew me away,” which apparently left a great impression on him, which has become a singular ability in live shows, and has helped shape the hip hop sound that distinguishes Black Eyed Peas.
Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray-Vaughn y Jimi Hendrix, great world guitarists, were also part of Pajon's self-taught musical training.
“From that moment on I was obsessed. I begged my parents for a guitar. They bought me a no-name brand at a swap meet because it was all they could afford. “I never left him,” George said.

He has had some participation in the soundtracks of films such as Poseidon, Scary Movie, Barbershop 2: Back in Business or Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, and contributed with the music behind television spots such as Live from Studio Five, The Voice of the Philippines, The Voice UK, The X Factor or Dancing with the Stars.
