Police are looking for a man for recording a woman in a store fitting room in Hialeah

The incident occurred at a Woodwill store in Hialeah.

The Hialeah community is alarmed after the report of an incident that occurred at the Goodwill store, located at 4410 West 16th Avenue, where a man was captured by security cameras while recording a woman in the fitting room.

The event, which took place on Sunday, March 3, has generated an intense search by local police.

According to Lieutenant Eddie Rodríguez, the suspect entered the store and, after making sure that a woman was going to the fitting room, he followed her and placed himself in the adjacent cubicle.

From there, he reached out with a cell phone to record the woman without her consent. The victim, a 49-year-old woman, noticed the action and immediately sought help, allowing the man to escape.

The police have managed to obtain clear images of the suspect thanks to the store's high-quality video surveillance cameras.

Lieutenant Rodríguez expressed concern about the possibility that the individual attempted to commit a similar act with minors, for which he has requested citizen collaboration for his prompt location and arrest.

Authorities have released images of the suspect and ask anyone who may recognize him or have additional information to contact the Hialeah police or call the Miami-Dade Crime Stop number anonymously at (305) 471-8477.

Police reiterate the importance of community collaboration in these types of cases to maintain safety in public spaces and prevent future incidents.
