Cimafunk has made history! The 35-year-old artist, whose real name is Erik Alejandro Iglesias Rodríguez, has become the first Cuban to sing at the famous Coachella festival, which is taking place in the California desert.
With their fused Caribbean rhythms, Cimafunk landed last weekend at the Coachella festival where they offered a vibrant performance to those attending their concert.
The Cuban singer has made us part of his time at the festival on his social networks by publishing images and videos of his show.
A dream come true for the Cuban who took the stage with his band The Tribe, in which he sang his musical hits that mix funk, afrobeat and hip hop.
The artist will perform again on April 19 at the popular festival. Other singers such as Lana del Rey, J Balvin, Peso Pluma and Bizarrap have also participated in this edition, which on the first weekend featured a surprise performance by Shakira.
