"A very hard loss, there are no words to say how much pain is being felt in our little town, they were children very loved by everyone," said Lumey Sedeño González.

Users on social networks commented that on Thursday, a few hours after the drowning of the minors, the Minister of Public Health José Ángel Portal Miranda and the Prime Minister Manuel Marrero visited health centers in Vertientes.

"Marrero visited the Batalla de las Guásimas power plant. A few kilometers from there, two boys, 14 and 16 years old, drowned while fishing in Concordia, probably to have something to eat. This despicable leader, who a few days ago was seen singing half drunk, would he have gone to Concordia to pay his condolences to the families of the deceased? Surely not," he questioned.Facebook Luis Enrique Perdomo Silva.
