Cerrero horse plays tricks on Cubans on the road

A cerrero horse played a trick on some farmers who were traveling in a cart through a Cuban highway.

A video shared on social networks showed the moment when three people traveling in a cart pulled by two horses talked with the driver of a motorcycle who was filming the scene behind them.

“And they said that that horse didn't steer, and it's the one carrying the cart!” the motorist can be heard saying while recording with his phone a video of the vehicle's movement, similar to what they call a “spider” in Cuba.

However, the good pace of the animals was suddenly interrupted by a startle from one of the horses, which stopped suddenly and began to back away.

“Oh, hold on, there's something strange here!” said the motorcyclist just before the accident happened. “All of this has turned upside down!” he is heard saying again after an interruption in the recording.

Apparently, the animal's fright and its recoil caused the cart to fall into a ditch on the side of the road.

The situation became tense, as the tame animal was trapped in the wagon's harness, literally hanging in the air. “Hurry up, he's going to drown!” said the one on the motorcycle without stopping recording.

Finally, despite the dangerous incident, no one was hurt, neither the horses nor the people.

The movement of people in carts on the roads of Cuba poses a danger and sometimes ends up causing accidents, like the one that occurred last November. an ambulance that collided with a horse cart who was traveling at night on a highway in Camagüey. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in the incident.

A month before, the collision between a bus and a truck on a road in Cienfuegos sent three members of a family to the hospital and left the horse injured.

The event occurred on a bridge over the Damují River and was reported on social networks. A woman traveling in the car suffered injuries for which she had to undergo surgery.

Eventually, the family members were discharged. "For those who cared about the accident victims, they are already at home recovering. Everyone good, including the horse", they reported on social networks.
