The Cuban singerAlex Duvall He paid tribute to Benny Moré in the Santa Isabel de Las Lajas cemetery, in Cienfuegos, reaffirming that the legendary musician is one of the references of his musical career.
“Second time visiting you and you continue to feel your energy when I sing “As it was” in front of you,” Duvall wrote on his Facebook account, along with a photo with his hand on the grave of the popular Benny.
The followers applauded his gesture: "Inspiration from the heart of one of the greatest of our land", "One of the great eternal lights", "Cuban Pride".
In 2019, on the occasion of the centenary of the prodigal son of Lajas,Duvall went to his grave for the first time to pay tribute to him.
On that occasion he shared a photo taken while he was placing a flower, along with the text: "Master, I owed you."
The young singer has declared himself a fan ofBenny More on several occasions and has the tradition of taking a photo with the popular statue of El Bárbaro del Ritmo that stands on Cienfuegos Boulevard.
