The Cuban singerYeny Valdes, former member of the orchestraApart From From, has shared a video on her Facebook profile with the aim of clarifying some of the latest statements she made about her.Samuel Formell, current director of the group, during an interview he offered in Peru.
"This man mentions my name and alludes to certain things that he is lying about and I definitely want to give my point of view, make my clarification and leave evidence that I have always told the truth", the artist first expressed in the material, alluding to the fact that she wants to settle once and for all all the controversy that has always arisen around her, her relationship with Samuel Formell and her departure from Los Van Van.
After hearing Samuel refer to her as "one of the best voices in Cuba" during the conversation, Yeny wanted to begin by remembering that he has not always given the same opinion, since in a previous interview he said that she was not "necessary" after leave Los Van Van. However, Yeny wanted to thank him for having given a different opinion about his talent on this occasion.
Another of the issues that Yeny wanted to clarify was how his departure from Los Van Van was, which occurred out of love. The artist says that after telling Samuel that she wanted to go to the United States to live with her husband, fellow Cuban musician Erick Barbería, she told him that she wanted to remain part of the orchestra "until her documentation was in order," something that finally it did not occur.
"They have never greeted me, they have completely omitted me. I don't know what it is that is not forgiven. I cannot allow what he exposes not to have an answer, because it contradicts what I have always said is the truth ", The singer expressed adding that her decision to leave the band was simply to bet on her relationship and that she did it in an honest way without harming anyone.
Samuel also said during the interview that he had no contact with Yeny and that he invited her to a Los Van Van anniversary. In this case, the artist adds that she has never received any invitation to participate in any of the group's events and urges Samuel to show said invitation.
"My family, after eight years, despite the time, I have to deal with this. I do not like lies or manipulation. For a long time I have remained silent out of respect for you, for us, for Juan and all my musical work in Los Van Van. This will be the last time I play the song. Rest in peace Juan Formell, May 1 marks the anniversary of his death. I know that you would have acted differently. hope and charity for all my people.", wrote the artist along with the publication of the audiovisual.
