"A tragic event that occurred on April 20 in Havana," the source noted, without providing further details about the cause of death.

According to Havana Club, the young woman stood out for her talent, "as a finalist and throughout her journey in the competition."

The Lyaness bar in the United Kingdom, where the young Constantinescu worked, also joined in mourning the bartender's death, reported the news site The Spirits Business.

"It's impossible to be prepared for what to say when a loved one passes away, but it's safe to say that we all have broken hearts over the sad news about Lexie," Lyaness remarked on Instagram.

Constantinescu and her colleague, Shreya Basu, both bartenders, competed together in the final of the Cocktail Maestros competition organized by Havana Club.

During the contest, the young woman who passed away spoke to The Spirits Business about the strong relationship she developed with a colleague: "Shreya knows me very well. I make mistakes. I can get a bit distracted, and she asks me, 'What's going on?' I reply, 'How did you read my mind?'"

On the JustGiving platform, a profile was created to raise funds to assist Constantinescu's family with the expenses related to his passing.
