Tourists arrive in Miami for the Formula 1 Grand Prix

Thousands of tourists have arrived in the city of Miami in the last few hours to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the greatest spectacle in world motorsport.

This exciting weekend-long event – May 3-5 – lands in Miami for the third consecutive year, attracting fans from all over the world.

Dehiner López, a traveler from Colombia but currently residing in Washington D.C., shared his enthusiasm with the media Local 10, who said he loves F1.

"When we planned our trip to Miami, I didn't hesitate to get tickets to the Miami Grand Prix."

People have also arrived from other parts of the country.

The epicenter of the action will be the artistic neighborhood of Wynwood. The Racing Fan Fest was held this Thursday, a free event for fans full of exciting activities and live entertainment.

However, with the arrival of Formula 1, Miami-Dade County also faces some logistical challenges.

Road closures and traffic congestion are expected in the vicinity of the main event, with particular impact on the Florida Turnpike near Hard Rock Stadium.

Attendees should plan their travel in advance and be prepared for possible delays.

This Formula 1 Grand Prix will be the second of six competitions this season, the news website reported. Sports this week.

The event schedule includes practice and qualifying sessions, as well as the races themselves.

The Autódromo Internacional, located next to the iconic Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens from 2022, will host the sporting event that attracts both competitors and spectators from around the world.

The Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix brought no surprises in the standings, with Max Verstappen securing two consecutive victories, as reported by the Sport website.

The first occurred in a sprint race, marked by an incident between Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz, while the second was a race without major dangers despite multiple Safety Cars periods.

These victories consolidated the Dutch driver's position at the top of the general classification, while Fernando Alonso stood out with his performance in qualifying and his endurance in the race, garnering media attention.

In contrast, Carlos Sainz faced a more complicated weekend than expected, slowing down his previous performance in Shanghai.
