Verónica Lynn, the beloved Cuban actress whose impact on theater, television, and film in Cuba is undeniable, is celebrating her 93rd anniversary this Tuesday.
Colleagues, friends, family, and admirers, both those who appreciate her human values and her professional achievements, dedicated beautiful congratulatory messages to the beloved artist who received the National Theater Award in 2003.
Actor Héctor Noas expressed his feelings with great warmth, saying: “You know that I love you, and not just for the immense talent you have as an actress. I wish you so many wonderful things that they wouldn’t fit in a post. Happy birthday, my Vero!”
Additionally, actress Inés María López Hernández referred to Lynn as “the queen,” wishing for a long life for the talented artist of whom she said: “The great Verónica Lynn for so many. To me, she is more than that; she is my Vero, the friend I met when we were very young, thanks to some theater performances we did together.”

Similarly, the National Theatre of Cuba, also on the social media platform X, highlighted the vitality of the actress, stating that she “prefers to surprise with her work as time goes by,” and wished much happiness to the prominent Cuban actress.
During her 92nd birthday in 2023, the acclaimed Cuban actress celebrated her anniversary by performing in the play "Frijoles Colorados," sharing the stage with actor Jorge Luis de Cabo Padua.
Verónica was born on May 7, 1931.
On television, one of her most memorable roles was in the soap opera Sol de Batey, directed by the late Roberto Garriga, where she played a villainous character.
Until then, as she herself acknowledged, she was known as a good actress, but the character of Doña Teresa is the one that made her popular.
