Cuban woman arrested for performing cosmetic treatments without a license in Miami

Angelina Andreoli, 29, was arrested during an undercover operation at Hamilton Health Center in Miami for offering cosmetic beautification services without a license from the Florida Department of Health.


A young man of Cuban origin was arrested accused of performing cosmetic procedures, such as botox injections and lip fillers in a Miami clinic, without having a medical license, authorities reported.

Angelina Andreoli, 29, was arrested last Thursday during an undercover operation at the Hamilton Health Center, located at 1801 Northwest 22nd Street in the city of Miami, where she allegedly offered cosmetic beautification services without having a license of the Florida Department of Health that authorized it.

Andreoli, a Miami Gardens resident, faces charges of practicing medicine without a license and illegal use of communication devices, according to court records reviewed by Press media.

The arrest report indicates that the Narcotics Unit of the Miami Police Special Investigations Section received information that Andreoli was providing illegal cosmetic enhancement services.

Investigators arranged an undercover rendezvous on May 9, 2024 at the medical center, during which Detective F. Harmon met with Andreoli for a consultation. botox injections and lip fillers.

The woman took the supposed client to a room in the clinic and explained the procedures she would perform on his face, according to the report.

Unaware that she was being watched, Andreoli began to prepare to apply the treatment, when the detective gave the signal to carry out her arrest and the tactical units entered and detained her.

A records check showed that Andreoli is not licensed in Florida to perform any type of medical procedure.

The defendant appeared last Friday before the Miami-Dade court, where Judge Mindy S. Glazer granted her bail of $5,001.
