A desperate Cuban father has asked for help on social media to find his 18-year-old son with a disability, who has been missing from his home in Matanzas for six days.

Karen Fuentes López is autistic and has difficulties communicating.

According to Sixto Osvaldo Fuentes Guiardinu, the young man usually leaves his home, although for a short period of time, and always returns without any issues, but this time it hasn't been the same.

"With today, it has been 6 days since he went missing," Sixto said this Sunday on his Facebook wall.

Yesterday I feared for his life, and today it's the same. I don't know, I have no idea where he could be. Yesterday the PNR showed up and did everything possible with the canine brigade and their experts, which I infinitely appreciate," detailed.

Karen lives in the Pastorita neighborhood in the city of Matanzas. Last Tuesday, she left her house at 10:00 pm, wearing shorts and a sweatshirt, without a backpack, water, or food.

The distressed person said that the family is exhausted, and he keeps his hopes on God. His phone number, in case someone has information, is 52444949.

"I am passing along the photo of the last activity he had with a group of autistic individuals and their psychiatrist. I infinitely hope that this odyssey ends well. Endless thanks to everyone," he expressed.

"He is the boy in the red sweater holding a homemade banner. May God watch over him," he added.
