A massive alligator measuring over three and a half meters (12 feet) long was captured at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa and was subsequently transported to Gatorama Park located in Palmdale, Florida.
The sighting of the enormous reptile was shared on Facebook by the Matt Devitt WINK Weather page, noting that, due to its size, the animal looked like it had come straight out of the Jurassic Park movie series.
"He's already making new friends, alligator. That is definitely a big boy!" commented the page on the social network.
In April, another massive alligator was captured at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
The reptile wandered freely along the runway at MacDill Air Force Base before being captured and relocated to a nearby river by personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
A video posted on Facebook shows two officers from the animal conservation agency struggling with the alligator, which was thrashing about and resisting capture. Tied with ropes, they were finally able to subdue it and lead it off the runway.
