Diesel fuel causes fire at a residence in Matanzas: "It exploded when they turned the light on and off."

A house caught on fire in the city of Matanzas after a scooter exploded following a power outage.

"A motorbike exploded when they turned the power on and off," wrote internet user Alexander Roque Sanabria in the Facebook group "Compra y Venta en Los Magos, Matanzas."

Along with their complaint, the user shared a video where firefighters can be seen working to put out the fire, which occurred on Capricho Street in the Los Mangos neighborhood.

The serious energy crisis that Cubans are facing, in addition to the annoying blackouts and their consequences, also brings dangerous events like this one, in which a family has lost part of their home due to a fire caused by the authorities' negligence.
