The Cuban YouTuber Yoliska Navarro, known as Yoliene, shared with her followers everything she has achieved after six months living in the United States.
"You know more than anyone how much I desired and fought to be here, which still seems incredible to me," he said in a video on his YouTube account.
Yoliene revealed that this semester she has achieved very simple but unimaginable things in Cuba, such as becoming independent or owning her own car. But the most important thing is that she has been able to travel and visit cities like Miami, New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
The young woman showed the apartment where she lives and her daily routine from the moment she gets up every morning, which starts with cardiovascular training exercises (cardio) on a stationary bike.
He also explained that he does not have all the necessary documents in order; nevertheless, on March 13th, he began studying to revalidate his dentistry degree.
"I decided that even though I don't have the documents, I am going to start studying for the degree, so that when I am ready and all the documents are here, I can already present myself to the Board, that is, I can already take the exam in order to later apply to a university," she explained.
As language proficiency is essential to resume her career, she began studying English at an academy and online.
"That's how it feels to study your career from scratch in English, knowing the parts of the tooth, how to say enamel, pulp, dentin, cement, in English," he said.
Another challenge that he still has to fulfill is getting his driver's license, even though he already has a car.
Yuliene arrived in the United States in November with her mother and several neighbors, after a journey of just over two months since she arrived in Nicaragua.
The content creator documented the journey from when she left Mexico City headed to the border of Ciudad Juarez, until her reunion with her family at the Jacksonville, Florida airport, after entering US territory through Texas.
Although he began his journey through Central American lands in September, he had left Cuba in June, heading to Trinidad and Tobago.
"My face says it all," he wrote on his social media to announce his departure from the island.
