Marta, the most viral Cuban grandmother on social media, confirms she does not want to go to the U.S.

The 79-year-old woman wishes to stay in Cuba.

Marta, a Cuban grandmother who went viral in recent months thanks to the mischief she shared with Ariel Ramos Perdomo, whom she adopted as her "grandson", confirmed in a video call with the young man that she has no intentions of going to the United States.

"Are you not going to come here to the 'Yunai' to see me?" asked the young man, who arrived in the United States this weekend.

"Can you imagine yourself on a plane? How awesome! Martica 'la cojonua' arrives in the United States. Can you imagine if it were on all the front pages?" he added, giving wings to the grandmother in a video posted by the young man on his Instagram stories.

"No, Pipo, no, I don't want to go there. Don't get mad, but no," replied the elderly lady rather seriously, who surely must already be missing the adventures she used to have with her honorary grandson.

Despite many people believing that they were family in real life, Ariel Ramos confirmed upon arriving in the USA that Marta is not his biological grandmother. However, he mentioned that he loves her as if she were, and emphasized that she will continue to be a fundamental part of his life even though he has emigrated.

Ramos Perdomo, who arrived in the state of Missouri on Sunday thanks to humanitarian parole, explained in an interview with journalist Mario J. Pentón that he met Marta almost four years ago when he rented a house owned by the elderly woman alongside his partner.

He explained that Marta is just as she appears in the videos, and that her numerous incidents led him to ask permission from the grandmother's family to document that spontaneity and naturalness that has made her so famous and beloved.

He also pointed out that we must respect the elderly lady who does not want to go to the United States -not even for a visit it seems- because she is an older person.

"She is in the best hands in Cuba, with her family. As for me, she will never be left alone," the tiktoker assured.

The young man - who studied veterinary medicine but never practiced it due to the living conditions in Cuba - is determined to continue creating content from the United States, and he wants Marta to be a part of it because he says "there is no Ariel without Marta."

At various moments during the interview, the young man emphasized that beyond the fact that the elderly woman's biological family takes very good care of her in Cuba, she will not lack anything from him either.
