Cuban contestant on The Voice Kids Spain confesses her love for mariachi music.

With a beautiful interpretation of the song "Si nos dejan," the Cuban teenager and contestant of La Voz Kids Spain confessed her love for mariachi music.

Dayana Riverón, a Cuban teenager contestant on La Voz Kids Spain 2024, recently confessed on social media her preference for mariachi music.

"Today I dared to return once again to the genre of mariachi that I love so much," wrote the 14-year-old girl on Instagram, where she shared a video of herself performing the song "Si nos dejan" by the composer José Alfredo Jiménez.

"I wanted to share it with all of you, I hope you like it as much as I do," said the young woman, who possesses a voice that is not only beautiful, but also very well-educated and powerful.

The publication was very well received among his followers, one of them even expressed: "How can you sing like that? You sound so good that it seems like a record."

Last April, Riverón joined the team of singer David Bisbal, a possibility that she thanked the musician for: "Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to be part of this small great family."

From the experience of singing in front of big names in Spanish music, he noted: "We are machines and I can only get emotional when remembering this great moment that still feels like a dream."

Riverón's performance during the blind auditions of the talent show La Voz Kids is classified as spectacular, an opinion that was shared by the judges of the TV show.

With her performance of the song "Te esperaba" by Carlos Rivera, the young woman captivated the singers David Bisbal and Melendi, who didn't hesitate for a second to turn around just a few seconds after the Cuban's performance began.

It is not the first time that the talent of Cuban children and adolescents impresses the jury of the La Voz Kids competition.

In 2023, Álvaro Tadeo made it to the final with a spectacular performance, garnering praises from all the artists who were on the television show.

For his latest performance, he chose the bolero "Vete de mí," a song that became famous after the Cuban singer and pianist Bola de Nieve included it in his repertoire.
