Oniel Bebeshito: "All my success I owe to Cuba"

I know perfectly well what it's like to have nothing, to not receive anything from anyone, and to have to earn it by sheer hard work, as we say.

Amidst the success of his first tour in Europe, Oniel Bebeshito took a pause to share a thoughtful message acknowledging the path he has walked and celebrating his achievements.

He who does not recognize his history is doomed to repeat it, I am Cuban, man, what's up, born and raised in Cuba, going through struggles like every Cuban, fighting for a dream," begins the post that he accompanied with several photos of concerts and of numbers of his songs.

All my success is owed to Cuba and to all the Cubans around the world, thanks to whom I have a song that is currently #27 trending in music, and, as if that weren't enough, #94 among the most listened to songs in the world in the past three days," he exemplified.

And for those who may think that what has been achieved is not much, he said to them that for him, it is a "super achievement," because he knows "perfectly well what it is not to have anything and for no one to give me anything and have to earn it the hard way, as we say."

"Today life has rewarded me and in my country, I have 8 songs in the TOP 10," celebrated in the message, which he closed by confessing his willingness to continue growing and adding: "Let's go for more, one day I said that everyone who believes in me will feel proud."

Applause for his continued effort, his humility to never forget where he comes from or what he has built, and blessings and wishes for more dreams come true and professional goals achieved, sparked by the young reggaeton artist with his words on social media, where his fans always recognize him as one of the most beloved, followed, and rising stars in the urban genre.

Nor did the support and love of colleagues were missing: "Keep breaking barriers," said Charly & Johayron; "Amen my brother, there are even bigger things coming," added the violist Zamir; "Stay focused, namesake, stay focused," commented L Kimii.

Among the more than a thousand comments that were piling up on the post just twelve hours after it was shared, one can also read the words of praise, love, and pride from his mother.

"My son, how you have grown. The most important thing is the prize of that public that loves you, your family, your friends. You have sweated all this alongside your band, no one has given it to you, you had to earn it. You have always had me in your audience, I love you, your mom," she said.

Before this post, Bebeshito had shared videos of his performance in Barcelona, another consecutive sold-out concert of his tour across the Old Continent.
