A 13-year-old girl who had been missing for several days in Havana has been found alive.

The girl was located by her family, although a report was filed with the authorities.

The feminist platform Alas Tensas announced that a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing in Havana days ago has been found and appears to be well.

The minor, named Maidavis, resides in the municipality of Cerro and was located by her family.

The Alas Tensas observatory was able to verify with a family contact number that the person had already been found," the organization stated on Facebook without providing further details.

"In this way we close #alertamayde in support of the Cuban girl," he added.

Last Thursday, various social media posts reported the disappearance of Maidavis two days earlier, according to sources close to the family, who requested collaboration to find her and left contact numbers.

According to one of the posts, a complaint was filed with the authorities and up until then they had no answers.
