Cuban in talent show in the US: "I am at my best moment"

The young Rafael González chose the song "Me va a extrañar," an anthem in the voice of Ricardo Montaner, and still managed to conquer the jury with his unique style.

Since the age of 16, the Cuban Rafael González, known as "El Boni," has ventured into the world of music, and now not only considers himself to be at his best moment as an artist, but also believes that his participation in the American program "Tengo Talento Mucho Talento" will mark the beginning of his dream to be a musician and live off his art.

He shared with the audience of the show that he sang in several orchestras until he moved to Miami to be close to his family. However, he admitted that, although he tried to succeed in music, it did not go as well as he had hoped, ending up working in a mattress factory.

Currently, he resides in Oklahoma City and acknowledges that his dream is to sing and live off his talent: "I want to make a living from music, I feel like I have abilities and I am also at my best moment and I want to take advantage of it," he said on the TV show "Tengo Talento Mucho Talento," which posted the Cuban's performance on Facebook.

The song "Me va a extrañar", by composer Vladimiro Tosetto and popularized by Ricardo Montaner, was on this occasion the main winning card chosen by the young Cuban artist, managing to garner praise from the judges of the show.

The singer Don Cheto expressed that the song chosen by Gonzalez is not easy to interpret, however, he acknowledged that his performance was good.

On her part, Ana Bárbara told her, "You should already be singing in the big leagues."

Several Cuban artists have made history on the television show "Tengo Talento Mucho Talento".

Recently, the Cuban Osleny Hernández paid a heartfelt tribute to his grandmother, who passed away three years ago, during his performance, winning over the hearts of the contest judges.

Hernández, who resides in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida, chose the song "Como Quien Pierde una Estrella" by composer Humberto Estrada Olivas, and demonstrated his talent in front of the jury. His performance, shared by the television program on Facebook, clearly shows his emotional interpretation.

Similarly, Cuban Norberto Abreu presented himself in the quarterfinals with a magic act in which he made his wife, who was four months pregnant, disappear before everyone's eyes.

The talent show posted a video on Facebook showing the woman entering a box, and after inserting swords into it, the audience discovered that she was not there.
