A Cuban dedicates performance on U.S. TV show to his deceased grandmother.

Osleny Hernández dedicated "Como Quien Pierde una Estrella" to his grandmother because she always motivated him to fight for his dreams.

The Cuban Osleny Hernández paid tribute to his grandmother, who passed away three years ago, during his performance on the American TV show "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento", capturing the judges' hearts in the competition.

Hernández, who resides in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida, chose the song "Como Quien Pierde una Estrella" by composer Humberto Estrada Olivas, and demonstrated his talent in front of the judges. His performance, shared by the TV show on Facebook last Wednesday, clearly shows his emotive interpretation.

Regarding the choice of the musical theme, the 23-year-old medical student explained that he had promised himself to dedicate that song to his grandmother if he ever stepped on the stage of a television program.

"In Cuba, I didn't have opportunities because of the country's situation, and when I arrived in the U.S., I started taking singing classes. Many times I was told no, but my grandmother always supported me, saying: 'Go for it, work hard and you will achieve what you want'," the young man pointed out.

Hernández, who works as a dispatcher at a trucking company two to three times a week, shared this emotional story about the unconditional support of his grandmother, winning over the judges' hearts even more.

The Cuban won the complicity wink from all the members of the jury, as well as numerous compliments and applause from the audience.

The singer Don Cheto said to the young man: "I have to acknowledge that not only do you have the look, you are also an artist, and I approve of you."

Recently, the Cuban Alexander Capote literally conquered the hearts of the "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento" jury with his version of "Cuando yo quería ser grande," a song well-remembered for Vicente Fernández's rendition.

The Mexican singer Ana Bárbara praised her performance by giving her a beautiful compliment: "You have the best voice of the season."

Another Cuban who shone on the television program was Giraldo Morelio, a balsero who arrived in the United States leaving behind a daughter in Cuba, captivated the program's jury with his emotional story and voice, convincing them to let him continue on his path in that reality show.

The young man, resident of Orlando, Florida, chose the song "O me voy o te vas" by Marco Antonio Solís for his performance in early April, as shared by the talent show on its Facebook page.
