Cuban Television will premiere a new telenovela: "Renacer."

The dramatization will consist of 90 episodes, and actor Alejandro Cuervo is one of its protagonists.


Cuban Television will premiere a new soap opera titled "Renacer" on June 10.

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights, viewers on the island will be able to enjoy this drama on the Cubavisión channel, featuring a script by Yoel Monzón, produced by Legna Pérez, directed by Heiking Hernández, and co-directed by television, film, and theater actor Héctor Molina.

"Renacer" will have 90 episodes and a cast that brings together experienced actors and actresses such as Manolín Álvarez, Héctor Molina, Jorge Losada, Daysi Quintana, Ludmila Alonso, Amada Morado, Mirtha Lilia Pedro, Mireya Chapman, as well as young artists including Alejandro Cuervo, Eileen Acosta, Andros Perugorría, Belissa Cruz, Daniela Valdés, David Reyes, Ary Fonseca, and Franklin López.

The family, generational conflicts, homosexuality, and relationship dynamics are some of the topics that this drama will explore.

Since the filming of the telenovela began last year, Alejandro Cuervo, one of the main actors, shared that he plays the character Luis Manuel.

Her partner in this production will be actress Belissa Cruz, who will portray Sandra, an antagonist character.

Jorge Losada will also perform in "Renacer." A few months ago, in an interview with the portal Cubaactores, he shared that this might be his last appearance on television.
