The Cuban actor Oscar Ibarra Nápoles has recently joined the long list of artists from the island who have arrived in the United States in recent years.

Oscar, known for his role as Tony in the Cuban soap opera "Viceversa," was welcomed at the airport by fellow actress and television host Niurka Caballero Colina.

On her Instagram, Niurka shared a video in which she is seen running to meet Oscar with an American flag, before embracing him warmly.

"The little brother that life gave me has arrived in the land of freedom. May all paths open for you, and may you be happy and prosperous; you deserve it," he wrote in the post description.

Several colleagues from both sides, including Alejandro Cuervo, Marino Luzardo, Reinier Hernández, and Gretel Cazón, joined in the comments expressing their happiness for this reunion.

In "Viceversa," Ibarra brought to life Tony, the waiter at Salvador's restaurant in Cojímar, a character that won over the audience.

On Cuban television, the actor also participated in the crime series "Tras la huella," the series "Uno," the second season of "LCB: La otra guerra," and the comedy show "Juntos pero no revueltos 2."

His acting career also took him to film, with roles in the movies Buscando a Casal, Cuba Libre, Viva, and Antes que llegue el ferry.

Another artist who recently arrived in the United States is actor Reinier Hernández, who met with his mother and older sister last week in Miami.
