Cuban and Catalan compete: Who dances salsa better?

Most of the comments from people on social media focused on pointing out how well the Catalan dances Cuban-style.

The question would surely provoke an immediate response: the Cuban one. However, a video shared on social media could leave many in doubt.

To the rhythm of Los Van Van, the Cuban Yenifer Lavin González and the Catalan Enric Bertran Antiga danced in the street, in plain view of curious passersby who occasionally stopped to observe the peculiar challenge.

These moments were captured in a video shared on Instagram, accompanied by a question: "Who has more flavor?"

The video ended with both of them dancing as a couple right in the middle of the street, in another excellent demonstration of rhythm and talent.

In the comments section, instead of debating who danced better, most people expressed their surprise at seeing a Spaniard dance salsa so well.

But it is not the first time that a person from the old continent masters the Cuban style of dancing.

A Spanish woman who loves salsa is succeeding in the Iberian nation with a dance academy that promotes Cuban dances.

Valle Túñez, a dance teacher, stands out in the Basque Country with a business that has a suggestive name: "Yumas."

Recently, the Cuban actor Alejandro Cuervo was seen on social media dancing to the song "Marca Mandarina" by Bebeshito and El Taiger.

The Cuban actor let loose dancing on Instagram to the chorus of this song that has recently become popular among fans of urban music.
