Mexican woman married to a Cuban: "I shout to speak, but Cubans come with a built-in speaker"

A Mexican woman married to a Cuban man makes a funny video about cultural differences.

A Mexican woman married to a Cuban expressed in a TikTok video the things she doesn't like about Cubans, sparking an avalanche of reactions in the social network community.

The protagonist of this viral video is Osmara, who lives in Houston with her husband, and started by saying: "I have always spoken well of Cubans but this time I am going to say things that I do not like about Cubans. I raise my voice to talk, but they bring a built-in level three loudspeaker. If I shout, they outdo me. They do not speak, they shout. It seems like they are arguing. I do not know when they speak normally or when they are fighting."

Another inconvenience she mentioned are the weekly gatherings. "They want to meet every weekend at someone's house. In all the gatherings, they want to eat the same thing. They don't hesitate to tell you that you're bald, you're fat, you're skinny, or things like that, but they are hesitant to say if they won't be able to go or if they didn't like a comment," Osmara added.

Many Cubans have felt identified with the customs that this Mexican has exposed.

"All that you have said is not bad and that's how we are, so different but so natural", "You're almost passing the citizenship exam", "This time you also spoke well of us hahaha it seems like you're hanging out with Cubans because you even say: wow hahaha", "The first time I met them my head hurt, I was dating one and he took me to a meeting and my head hurt from the shouting, but I still married him" or "Oh, this girl loves us. She has studied us. And I still don't know any Cubans who feel ashamed to say 'No', we even have a language for that" or "How great to visit and spend time with friends and family on weekends", are some of the comments that can be read alongside her video on TikTok.
