Uruguayan woman married to a Cuban: "I didn't understand anything he was saying when we first started."

A young Uruguayan woman joins the popular TikTok trend "married to a Cuban".

A Uruguayan woman married to a Cuban has joined the popular TikTok trend of sharing cultural clashes that most surprise people with Cuban partners, sparking a flurry of comments on the social network.

The protagonist of this trend is the Uruguayan @maguiiiii03, who started by highlighting that since she has been with her husband, they sing her two birthday songs.

"When we started dating, I didn't understand anything he was saying," said this young woman, who also got used to eating typical Cuban dishes like congri, stew, and fried plantains. "I clearly like the neighborhood and I learned all the bad words," she added.

The video has over 25 thousand views, and among the comments, they even say it has a Cuban accent. "Background extra," "One more of us," "You already have Cuban citizenship," they told Magui.
