Mom or dad?: Alejandro Cuervo tells who chose the names of his kids

The actor once again showed off his closeness and spontaneity when answering questions from his fans.

In a recent question and answer session on Instagram, the well-known Cuban actor Alejandro Cuervo shared details about the origin of the name of his youngest son, Aston, born on June 4th.

Through the stories section on his account, Cuervo also talked about the choice of his firstborn's name, Bastian, and answered the question of whether he and his wife, Arletis Rodríguez, were in an open relationship.

The artist explained that the name Aston has American roots and mentioned that he knows an actor and a triathlon athlete named Aston Eaton, as well as the Grand Aston hotel, although he clarified that the choice of the name for his child has no relation to the hotel.

"Arletis really chose it," added the popular artist in the video uploaded to the section of ephemeral content on the network.

"Bastian was my choice, because of the footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger, a German footballer, a German name," he confessed.

"Well, Aston chose Arletis and I really liked it because besides, the pronunciation has a lot to do with Bastian. So it sounded very good to me, I liked it, short, original," he closed his response in which he claimed not to know "anyone in our archipelago who has it" and added that "they like to set themselves apart a little."

Since the arrival into the world on October 4, 2022, of Bastian, the couple's firstborn, and the birth last June 4 of the youngest, Aston, the networks have witnessed -and enjoyed- the actor's sweetest and most personal side, who has built a beautiful family with the dentist and does not hesitate to show his pride.

In the stories, where he also talked about his smoking habit, discussed his bearded look, referred to his character in the soap opera currently airing on television, and thanked many signs of affection; he also responded - with his usual sense of humor - to whether he and Arletis had an open relationship.
