There is controversy among Karol G and Rosalía fans!

It's officially summer, and it's evident in the list of new music releases, which was led last week by Karol G with her merengue "Si antes te hubiera conocido." A catchy song recorded in the Dominican Republic that has all of Bichota's fans playing the song on repeat.

However, the release has sparked intense debate on social media, where many have pointed out the similarities between "Si antes te hubiera conocido" and Rosalía's "Despechá". Comparisons that intensified after the Spanish singer's reaction on her Instagram profile to the release of her colleague.

The interpreter of "Con Altura" published a compilation of photos on Instagram with her Merengue. A detail that has not gone unnoticed and has been interpreted as a veiled response to Karol G amid this controversy. It is worth noting that among the photos is an image of Rosalía showing her middle finger to the camera.

This controversy has not only fueled the rivalry between the artists, but has also sparked a debate on the issues of cultural appropriation and authenticity in music.

With the race for the song of the summer underway, this dispute adds a new chapter to the competition between Karol G and Rosalía, keeping their followers attentive to the next moves of the two artists...

Here are the two songs for you to judge whether the two themes really resemble each other:
