The price of the US dollar (USD) went down again in Cuba this Thursday, as the value of the freely convertible currency (MLC) skyrocketed in the informal market, which had been very stable for several days.
The USD is trading on the black market for currency exchange in Cuba at 360 pesos. This figure represents five CUP less than June 26th.
The European currency maintained its value stable for the second consecutive day. This morning, the euro is being traded at 375 CUP in the Cuban informal market.
However, the MLC, which had remained stable at 300 CUP for several weeks, shows a slight increase of five pesos this Thursday, that is, its price is at 305 CUP on the morning of June 27th.
