Cuban in the USA sends message to Díaz-Canel: "You cannot take away my citizenship for thinking differently."

This Cuban is very active on social media, posting messages opposing the government of the island. He resides in the United States and declares himself as anti-communist.

The Cuban Yanko Mesa made strong statements against the Cuban regime, stating that no "bureaucrat dictator" has the moral authority to revoke his Cuban citizenship.

Mesa's message, known for his anti-communist stance, is especially aimed at the ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel, following the recent news that the new Citizenship Law in Cuba could give the president the authority to revoke this status from some people born on the island.

Mesa posted a video with his statements on his TikTok profile @yancomesa14, and also left a text message on platform X.

"No bureaucratic dictator will have the moral authority to take away my Cuban citizenship. Far from my way of thinking and being anti-communist (...) none of you have the right to revoke my Cuban citizenship," he said.

The young man expressed: "I am Cuban by birth and that citizenship cannot be taken away." Additionally, he assured that the authorities on the island are afraid and, in his opinion, that is why "they are enacting laws to see if they can break the will of the people."

Yanko Mesa's statements on TikTok have received hundreds of interactions and dozens of messages.
