More than an hour to collect luggage at Havana Airport due to problems with the conveyor belt.

Cubans traveling through Terminal 1 of Havana Airport go through a hell due to the poor conditions of the facility.

Cubans arriving at the Havana Airport have to endure over an hour of waiting to receive their luggage.

The case gained relevance after a complaint on social media about the ordeal experienced by passengers of flight 471 from Santiago de Cuba to its final destination in La Habana.

"They have been waiting for over an hour to collect their luggage because the conveyor belt is not working," wrote the independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada on his Facebook profile, accompanied by a video showing the travelers' discomfort at not being able to retrieve their belongings quickly.

The incident took place at Terminal 1 of the aforementioned airport facility, the place from where domestic flights depart and arrive.

In the video, you can hear people asking for one of the facility's bosses to come and demand an explanation for the delay.

Discomfort, mistreatment, and indifference took over the waiting room, with scenes of yelling and exclamations demanding a solution to the problem.

Recently, a Cuban who arrived from Mexico was surprised by the state of abandonment of said terminal, which he compared to an unattended baseball field.
