El Chulo remembers with tears the only moment in his life when he let his mom down.

In an interview for the podcast "Destino Tolk," the reggaeton artist confessed that he used to ask his mother for forgiveness from prison.

The time he spent in prison was a before and after in El Chulo's life, a decisive moment in which he decided to change completely, but one that he remembers with great regret.

In an interview for the podcast "Destino Tolk", the reggaeton artist confessed that it was the only time he felt he had let his mother down.

Between tears and almost unable to speak, he recounted that he communicated with her from prison: "Every day when I talked to her, it made me very sad because I asked her for forgiveness. I feel that is the only time in my 34 years of life that I have let her down."

Everything is a process, and thanks to God, today I am proud of myself. I was able to make that difficult moment pass with hard work, effort, and dedication," she added.

Very moved, El Chulo remembered that his mother was both a mother and father to him, and he acknowledges that he never lacked anything thanks to her sacrifice.

The reggaeton artist stated that he made a mistake and greatly regrets it, and recounted that after leaving prison he was determined to do things differently and work in order to bring his mom and his family from Cuba: "I believe that more or less, I have had the opportunity to redeem myself with her."
