Cubans and hurricanes in Miami, according to the comedian George Harris: "They have a magic"

The Venezuelan comedian imitated in one of his shows the reaction of Cubans in Miami when a hurricane approaches.

After so much experience with hurricanes on the island, Cubans in the United States do not feel intimidated by these natural phenomena. Quite the opposite, they await the impact calmly and prepare all conditions so that they lack nothing on those days.

The Venezuelan comedian George Harris imitated the reaction of Cubans in Miami when a hurricane approaches in one of his shows.

The United States and Canada could face the worst hurricane season in their history. Well guys, if you have a Cuban friend, go to their house because that's the only place where the hurricane won't hit. Cubans have a magic that allows them to avoid all hurricanes," the comedian said, eliciting laughter from the audience.

"I have Cuban friends, and when Irma came, none of them left Miami," he said, imitating the way Cubans speak. He remembered telling them he was going to Orlando because they needed to evacuate, and they would respond, "They always say the same shit, forget about it, buy Chinese rice, Chinese food, buy pizza, have a beer, and start playing at home. If the internet goes out, it doesn't matter, do something else. Why are you going to leave, you're going to waste gas."

George Harris put the final touch on it when he added in his role as a Cuban: "Imagine that we have to leave Cuba because a hurricane is coming, no one comes back."

The comedian's allusion to hurricanes comes just as the cyclone season has already begun and the first tropical phenomenon, Beryl, approaches with potential danger for Cuba.
