A resident of the province of Sancti Spiritus recently denounced the poor quality of a yogurt purchased at a fair, which was going to be consumed by a minor, leading the Cuban to criticize the regime, questioning: "Do you think that's suitable for a child?".

Michel Alayon explained on Facebook that, during a fair in Sancti Spiritus, he bought a yogurt whose flavor he described as "shit with bread flour."

According to the Cuban, after trying the yogurt, he understood why the mentioned dairy product was so "cheap," which led him to question the regime on social media: "This is not seen by anyone," implying that the government sells products of questionable quality to the people.

With great indignation, the man asked on social media if anyone else had encountered the same situation.

In the comment section, some internet users recalled the recent complaints of bread being sold with sand, while others mentioned the poor quality of soy mince and other products that reach homes through the ration book.

Last January, the production of soy yogurt in Sancti Spiritus was halted due to a lack of raw materials.

An article in the Escambray weekly revealed that the Río Zaza Dairy Company has halted that production line because it does not have soybean to make the yogurt intended for children aged seven to 13 and for school snacks.

However, in April, it was explained that the Dairy Industry of Sancti Spiritus resumed the production of soy yogurt after receiving a shipment of the Asian bean.

It was reported that the amounts of soy will be sufficient for a sustained production of 5,000 liters of yogurt daily, for 70 days. It was also mentioned that the government was expecting to receive additional shipments of the raw material.

What do you think?
