A Cuban farmer is going viral with some verses denouncing the lies of the regime, recounting what happened during a visit by Díaz-Canel to his province.
The elderly man, originally from Pinar del Río, very creatively exposes what happens when high-ranking officials announce their visits to towns and municipalities in the interior, where authorities will do anything to falsify the truth.
In the video, shared on TikTok by the user Ariel Fuentes, the man details that when Diaz-Canel went to Viñales, the local government did everything to hide the crisis, from painting the royal palms to bringing cows from another territory to showcase "their livestock."
Afterward, when the government visit is over, hardship and scarcity return to people's lives without any retouching or adornments.

Many internet users congratulated him for his talent in poetry and pointed out that although his message provokes laughter, it is also a denunciation of what has always happened in the country.

"But Canel knows everything. He is not unaware of anything," another one asserted.
"That is very real, they are accustomed to that," wrote a woman.
