The Cuban actress Gelliset Valdés shared photos on her Instagram with her followers of her celebration this Thursday for the Independence Day of the United States, some of them accompanied by family and friends.

In her post, the Cuban actress expressed her joy and pride to be in this country and celebrate, for the third year, such a meaningful date.

"It's my third year celebrating the 4th of July because I feel a total pride for this great country that welcomed me, I say I'm the most American I220-A there is!!! I'm missing some photos, but nobody has missed this celebration," wrote Valdés alongside the pictures.

The celebration of the 4th of July, which commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, is one of the most important holidays in the United States, and is characterized by parades, fireworks, barbecues, and family gatherings, activities in which the actress has enthusiastically participated.

Gelliset Valdés, on the other hand, experienced one of the most emotional moments of her life at the beginning of last June by fulfilling the dream of having her mother in the United States. After more than two years of separation, Valdés shared the touching reunion on her social media, accompanied by a message full of gratitude and joy.

In the video posted on Instagram at that moment, you can see the warm embrace she shared with her mother, marking the end of a long wait and symbolizing family unity. "Life has been good to me! Today, two and a half years after being in this great country, I have my mother with me. Grateful for everything and everyone!!!!! For two days now, I have been living with the feeling that I am in a dream. Blessed to have this beautiful family," she expressed enthusiastically in the post.
