A Cuban welcomes his dog in the U.S. with balloons: "Now the family is complete."

The young man stated that he had promised to take his female dog to the United States and he kept his word, since his pet, even though not purebred, is worth much more to him because she is part of his family.

Although many called him crazy for wanting to bring a mixed-breed dog to the United States, a young man stated that without her, his family and happiness would not be complete, and for that reason, he welcomed her with balloons and a hat, as if she were a loved one.

"My family was already here, but happiness was not complete because you were missing," wrote the user @dabiel_barber on TikTok, while sharing a video showing the moment his little dog arrived in the United States.

"I promised you years ago that I would bring you, and a promise must be fulfilled no matter what," the young man pointed out.

To those who called him crazy for bringing a mongrel dog out of Cuba, he replied: "But what they don't know is that for me, this dog is worth a thousand times more than any purebred, because it is family and family is not abandoned."

Finally, he shared a beautiful message full of hope: "Nothing is impossible, my people, never abandon a promise or give up on a dream."

It is not the first time a Cuban has taken a pet from the island to the United States.

Last February, a family received the biggest surprise when they welcomed their pet into their home, which they hadn't seen for two years.

The video, shared on Instagram, shows the joy of the couple as they open the door and see their dog, who had three balloons tied to its collar.

Recently, a young Cuban couple, who were visiting the island to reunite with their family and pets, returned to the United States accompanied by their dog Lenito.

A huge dream fulfilled, after all the emotions that traveling to Cuba entailed, we were also able to return with our baby," shared Facebook user Dayana Viamontes, alongside a short video showing different moments of the couple leaving Cuba with their dog until their arrival in the United States.
